Upcoming International Workshops

Italy, Umbria (Corciano) and Lake Como (Varenna) - Plein Air - June 2-14, 2025

This is a 13-day outdoor painting workshop with 8 painting locations in all and 3 full demos throughout the course. Midway through the workshop we have a group trip to the historic Renaissance city of Florence, and on the final day we will take a boat tour across Lake Como. All experience levels are welcome.

The Workshop includes all transportation while in Italy, including to and from the airport. All lodging including 3-star hotels in Florence and Villas in Corciano and Lake Como. It includes the Welcome and Departure Dinner, breakfast daily, and of course workshop instruction with James Kroner.

Germany Workshop Application

This is a 13-day outdoor painting workshop with 8 painting locations in all and 3 full demos throughout the course. Midway through the workshop participants will travel to the small Bavarian town of Kirchheim to enjoy a day of relaxation and an authentic German Dinner prepared by a local host family. We will also travel to the historic town of Schwäbisch Hall. All experience levels are welcome.

The Workshop includes all transportation while in Germany, including to and from the airport. All lodging including 3-star hotels in Füssen, Kirchheim and Rothenburg. It includes the Welcome and Departure Dinner, breakfast daily, and of course workshop instruction with James Kroner.
