This workshop will be 4 full days of outdoor painting with a critique. Our hotel will provide us all daily breakfast and from there we’ll head out to paint the town of Lucerne, travel around Lake Lucerne by boat and train to paint the alps and other nearby towns and mountain views. Lucerne has everything we need for a great painting destination! James will demo for the group and give individual instruction. James looks forward to meeting you here!
This workshop includes 4 days of teaching, all lodging, all transportation during the workshop, and will provide us with daily breakfast, a welcome dinner, and a Swiss style home cooked dinner by our host to close out the workshop.

Workshop Instruction:
Daily during the workshop James will provide one-on-one instruction and do 2 demos during the course showing you how he would handle the scene. James gives a description of how he sets up his palette, where his focus is drawn in any scene and how he achieves color harmony. James will work with you individually according to each painters skill level. This workshop is meant to help you push forward on your painting journey. Artists complete anywhere from 4-9 works on average during the week. All skill levels are welcome. Friend or spouse also welcome. We look forward to sharing in this experience with you!
